"The IceMan" - Wim Hof

We are so excited to share with you this fantastic conversation with Founder Glenn Marsden about Wim Hof breathing, mental wellness, what is going on right now in the world and our connection to nature, to soul and to God.

Dutch extreme athlete Wim Hof got his nickname 'The Iceman' by breaking a number of records related to cold exposure including: climbing Mount Kilimanjaro in shorts, running a half marathon above the Arctic Circle barefoot, and standing in a container while covered with ice cubes for more than 112 minutes.

Using 'cold, hard nature' as his teacher, his extensive training has enabled him to learn to control his breathing, heart rate, and blood circulation and to withstand extreme temperatures.

Armed with his motto 'what I am capable of, everybody can learn', Wim Hof is convinced that everyone can tap into their inner potential without having to invest the same decades worth of study, travel and daring.

Wim has made it his mission to share what he’s learned with the rest of the world. And so he developed the Wim Hof Method: a combination of breathing, cold therapy and commitment that offers a range of benefits.

With his Wim Hof Method, he teaches people from all over the world, from celebrities and professional athletes, to people of all ages, to control their body & mind and achieve extraordinary things.

“He has not only helped advance scientific understanding, but also accomplished extraordinary feats of human endurance, including 21 Guinness World Records.

Wim Hof gets behind the Imperfectly Perfect Campaign's Global Efforts.

“There comes a moment that through your belief, you arrive. It’s like you leave the car, you don’t stay in the car. I’ve used my vehicle to get where I need to go. The realisation of my soul. That’s my home and it’s living in my heart, and it is in love and I spread it like a virus. Jesus Christ was 2000 years ago, he’s right here, right now. That’s what i’m saying. It’s you. God is within you. The light is within you.’ - @iceman_hof

'I literally wanted to die' with Joshua Broome

He was one of the Top Five Male Porn Stars in the World. Now he's a Pastor.

Joshua Broome has a story that'll move you to tears with his painful experiences, but then inspire you to grow in God because of what he's done in his life.

During his five years in the porn industry, Joshua Broome made over 1,000 adult films, was named Top Adult Male Performer of the Year, and earned over one million dollars. This episode we hear how Joshua first got involved in the porn industry, the damage it wreaked on him, and where it got to the point of him wanting to take his own life. He shares while working at a restaurant in L.A., how he met a group of girls who worked in porn who suggested that he consider doing so as well. He agreed to meet with an agent, who told him that because of his good looks and because there was a need for acting experience, he could likely have a successful career as a porn star.

The guilt and nerves gradually diminished throughout his first year working as a porn star. “The more numb I became to what it was, the less I felt conflicted about it,” he said. “It was just a transaction to me. A handshake was sometimes more personal than having sex.” Joshua them delves in to the decision to leave the porn industry being the result of something one could describe as a modern-day miracle.

This is such an inspirational story and we cannot wait for you to listen. So be sure to click the link in our bio for our latest episode.

Motivational Speaker, Author, Woman Of God Somalia Brown gets behind our Global Efforts.

‘I’m not perfect, you know what I mean and I show my flaws. Spiritually, same thing. There are moments when women think, ‘oh my god I want a marriage just like you. I want to have a ministry just like you and I’m like, you don’t know what it’s cost me. People admire and covet, but you don’t know what it took that person, you don’t know what it took Beyonce to be Beyonce. Do you know how many hours she works out. My childhood, I had to give up being a child at some point. You have to give up something to be great. To be a world-changer and that’s imperfect. When we show that side, a lot of people back up. But that’s the imperfect side of you just seeing my platform. Whoever else’s platform who you admire and and want so bad but what did he or she have to give up to get that. That should be the question that every person asks.’ @realonesomalia

An upcoming episode with an incredibly powerful and inspirational business woman, author, motivational speaker, RESET mindset specialist and world game changer; Somalia Brown.
