Beating The Odds with Anthony Trucks
Anthony Trucks is a self proclaimed “Foster kid turned NFL athlete turned serial entrepreneur." He is a family man, appeared on an American Ninja Warrior, is a former NFL player, Business Owner, International Speaker and Corporate Business Consultant. At the age of three years old, Anthony was placed into the foster care system. It’s a well-known fact that up to 50 percent of kids placed in the system will end up homeless upon emancipation, and 75% of prison inmates in the U.S. are former foster kids so needless to say the odds were against him from the beginning. This looming reality was never lost on him and he spent a good bulk of his childhood feeling adrift, unworthy and listless. For years, he spent every day in survival mode, just trying to make it to the next day, week and year in one piece. Listen in to this powerful episode, as Anthony delves in to his story, his personal struggles and how he overcame adversity and turned everything around to become the man he is today. Powerful, inspirational and life lessons that we can all learn from.

Gena Lee Nolin gets behind the Imperfectly Perfect Campaigns' Global Efforts.
'What better way to take a load off our shoulders, because none of us are perfect, and thats the first thing that came to mind when I heard about the campaign and listened to all the stories and testimonials that people gave and really sharing their truth about what they've gone through. Its so important to take the stigma out of depression and mental illness because no-one is perfect. If we all learn to understand that and talk about our feelings, get help that we need and know that we are not alone.' - Gena Lee Nolin.
An immense honour to have Gena get behind the campaigns efforts. Such an incredible advocate towards normalising the everyday binocular around Mental Health and sharing her own story.
